Beyond anchors and chain cable, we supply items such as panama chocks and (double) bollards — for direct replacement, for a new build alongside anchors and chain, or for an addition such as an extra stern anchor fitted after delivery.

The most common panama chock and bollard types to DIN, ISO or JIS norm are available, and we keep a stock of deck and bulwark DIN-type panama chocks. Every item ships with a class certificate and the Wortelboer quality our customers already know.

Chocks and bollards take real load — a mooring line under tension or a stern anchor line running out over a bulwark chock puts side loads on the fitting that a generic casting isn’t built for. Matching the norm to your vessel’s flag and the fitting to the load it will actually carry is the point of asking rather than ordering off a spec sheet alone.

Certification is traced to the IACS unified requirements that classification societies apply to deck and mooring equipment.
